Maybe someone should start a page for the Lumenta (family) surname. Its origin and the notability of its members. --KS™ 19:44, 22 October 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shawishie (talkcontribs)

Wikipedia is not a telephone directory

[edit]

Per WP:NOT, I have removed all people who do not already have Wikipedia articles. A list of every Chinese Indonesian person would not be useful to readers. Listing people who do not have Wikipedia articles results in listing people without verification that they are Chinese Indonesian from reliable sources. This page needs serious help. Too many listing items have been added that don't meet the notability criteria. Is it time to start over? Julius.kusuma (talk) 18:04, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, certainly -- per WP:LISTPEOPLE -- it would be appropriate to remove all entries that lack both: a) a wp article, and b) refs reflecting notability and that they are Chinese Indonesian.--Epeefleche (talk) 18:06, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Change title to 'List of notable Chinese Indonesians'

[edit]

The title may sound misleading, as if this article knows every single Chindos. See if this approach can be enforced. GeraldWL 09:49, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable entries

[edit]

All entries on this list must have articles or have evidence of notability from multiple independent sources per the WP:LISTPEOPLE guideline. Items not meeting these criteria should not be restored. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:22, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
