There is some misunderstanding here: see note 3 (relating to the Final penalty column). The goalkeeper should be included only if he saves the final penalty, not if it hits the post or misses the goal. For example, Bodo Illgner should not be included for Chris Waddle's missed penalty in 1990. If anyone disagrees with this convention, please explain why here instead of repeatedly (incorrectly) changing the article. Tffff (talk) 18:04, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
How count column "Percentage of extra time matches" in the table "By Year"?[edit]
In this table, for example, year 2010, Knock-out matches = 16, Matches with Extra-time = 4, Penalty shoot-outs = 2, Percentage of extra time matches = 50%, Percentage of knock-out matches = 12.5%.
Count "Percentage of knock-out matches": 2/16*100%=12.5% (12.5% in table).
Count "Percentage of extra time matches": 4/16*100%=25% (50% in table). Why 50%?
Another years the same.
I recount this "Percentage of extra time matches" in all years, but next day someone undo my edit.
