Apologies - I am a very new Wikipedia user and am feeling my way.

I very much enjoyed Faking It when it was shown on TV and came to Wikipedia to check some episode summaries.

As of the time of writing this note, there is the list of episodes listed here but no synopses.
Rather than jumping in and adding some, I though I should ask a couple of questions here first.

  1. The episode list here combines both the UK and US series
As an example, if I check out the Channel 4 webpage for Faking It [[1]], then the episodes listed here on the Wikipedia for Season 6 (2004) are shown on the Channel 4 website as Series 5 - My question is, would it be OK to split the UK and US shows into separate sections on this list of episodes page?
  2. I want to respect copyright and am a bit confused about fair use. There are some synopses/descriptions/summaries on, for example, tv.com [[2]] (incidentally, these are are similar or sometimes identical to summaries elsewhere so I'm not sure which is the 'original' source). Is it OK to copy or do I need to paraphrase the description? Clearly I should cite these pages as references.
    • As a subsidiary point, as these summaries are very short (others are short sentences and probably don't really deserve the word summary as they are more like descriptions) I'd prefer to put the summary/description on this page of the episodes as making individual pages strikes me as unnecessary. Is this appropriate for Wikipedia?

Thanks for any advice

Wow, I'm a bit slow coming to this, but I completely agree about the conflation of the UK and US series. I'm rearranging them :)
