Flashpoint Episode Production Codes

[edit]

The production codes for the Flashpoint Episode table are completely incorrect as of the listing of December 15, 2008. The incorrect codes listed in the table seem to be based on the order the episodes aired and are not indicative of the actual production codes that were displayed on the title page of the scripts for each episode, which I have seen personally. According to the cover pages on the scripts for each episode, the following are the correct production codes:

"Scorpio" 101
"First In Line" 102
"The Element of Surprise" 106
"Asking For Flowers" 108
"Who's George" 107
"Attention Shoppers" 103
"He Knows His Brother" 105
"Never Kissed A Girl" 109
"Planets Aligned" 110
"Eagle Two" 111
"Haunting The Barn" (formerly Fight or Flight) 112
"Backwards Day" 104
"In A Heartbeat" 113

In addition, I have seen the first draft of the script for the first new episode that will be produced for Season Two and it is definitely labelled as Episode 201.

Should the last episodes of Season 1 be considered as Season 2?

[edit]

Well, only CBS is considering Eagle Two, Backwards Day, Haunting the Barn and Between Heartbeats as Season Two. When I mean ONLY, I mean only. CTV, the production crew, and Internationally, consider these episodes as Season ONE. Shouldn't these episodes be in Season ONE?

Discuss please! --NotYouHaha! (talk) 22:34, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- I agree. majority of people that watch this show know those episodes as season 1. LittleMatchGirl (talk) 21:41, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, clearly there isn't any argument -- yet -- against season 1 being listed here in its official state, so I changed it. IF there are any issues, surely this change will bring them here now! :) And if so, please let's discuss it first prior to editing back. Thanks! LittleMatchGirl (talk) 04:34, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, CTV has now switched.. Thanks TorontoDrew for updating this page. I have also updated the main article to reflect it. LittleMatchGirl (talk) 00:09, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

US Air Dates

[edit]

Are the US air dates going to be included or not? It's there for "One Wrong Move" so I added them for the other episodes as well. What I added was removed but the date for "One Wrong Move" was left there. The note on the Undo says "Original air date, not a list of every air date" but it's not like I was listing re-runs,I was listing the date that the episodes are first airing in the US. Supergrrlx (talk) 02:27, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I missed that one for some reason, this lists the original air date which is only one, the original, every other airing is by definition not the original. If you start listing the dates it first aired in the US, and then in the UK, and then in Australia, we're going the direction of every broadcast ever for each country ever. That's why just the original is included. Xeworlebi (tc) 06:05, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spoiler removed

[edit]

I removed a spoiler of the ending from one of the descriptions. Thanks a lot, guys! :( --99.38.96.87 (talk) 05:17, 18 July 2010 (UTC)][reply]

Reverted per WP:SPOILERXeworlebi (talk) 08:34, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I could be wrong, but I almost never see the ending of an episode described on TV show episode summaries. --99.38.96.87 (talk) 14:37, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian ratings

[edit]

I changed it to specific links for ratings because bbm has removed the direct links to their older years' data. One need know the exact path of a file to find what is still available from previous year(s). As the 2009-10 tv season ends in a couple of weeks there is a decent chance that bbm will kill the direct link to the weekly list for this tv year's ratings and start with a clean slate for 2010-11, just like they did in September 2009. Also, the general link that was in the table header has been a dead link for some many months now. If bbm were still searchable or indexed for the general public beyond the current year then an all encompassing reference could be practically used. The rating for 15 May 2009 is unreferenced because bbm seems to have misplaced that week's pdf on their website. After a rather extensive search i was not able to find on bbm.ca or archive.org any ratings before 1 September 2008. They appear to have simply been deleted and were not archived though some random older ratings are archived from when they were still offered in html many years ago. delirious & lost~hugs~ 10:39, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Episode numbers are confusing

[edit]

Could anybody please clarify the differences between the episode#s? The seem to differ internationaly and its kind of hard to make sense of it. Which country do this articles #s relate to? US, Canada? Sorry I still don't get it and two friends I asked regarding the topic and this article don't get it either. Please do something about the missing information.

Henry Czerny's Gemini Award?

[edit]

Season 1 Ep 2's blurb states "When her father (guest star Henry Czerny, who won a Gemini Award for this role) ". Is there a reference for this? It isn't in Henry Czerny's IMDB awards list http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001089/awards nor in Flashpoint's IMDB awards list http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1059475/awards. Flashpoint Season 4 Episode 16 Confusion

[edit]

Question: According to IMDb(link is here), The show "You Think You Know Someone" is supposed to be Season 2 Episode 20, and according to [http://www.tv.com/shows/flashpoint/team-player-1561405/ tv.com(link to show is included), "Team Player" is supposed to take it's place. So, is Wikipedia right or not? 71.167.137.83 (talk) 21:25, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

DVD releases

[edit]

There should be a mention of DVD releases or the seasons issue becomes even more confusing. The US release of "THE FIRST SEASON" is as expected but the release of "THE SECOND SEASON" ends with episode 9. "THE THIRD SEASON" US discs continues with rest of season 2 and end with Season 3 episode 7. The "THE FOURTH SEASON" DVDs start with episode 8 from season 3 and end with episode 7 from season 4. "THE FIFTH SEASON" contains the first ION episodes, which are the final 11 episodes from season 4. Supposedly, there will be another release called "THE FINAL SEASON" that should contain the actual 5th season.

In the mean time, a lot of confused and angry customers are getting "THE FIFTH SEASON" and finding out that it contains episodes they already saw. Hagrinas (talk) 02:24, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Episode airdate

[edit]

Hi, I was wondering wheter IMDB, Epguides or this Wiki page should be considederd as the original airdate. Does season one (e.g.) have 9 episodes (see links) or 13 (this wiki). I suppose the orginal Canadian airdates should be followed. Could someone who knows more about this may be look into that. Larsnl (talk) 08:53, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
