Please add a bit about Atul Kaushal

[edit]

He has penned an eBook '7 Seconds: Typical Teenager, Atypical Life' which is available on Amazon as well as Slideshare apart from penning several poems including his most famous ones called The 'Angel?' Series among 1000+ others on his Hello Poetry presence. He credits his taking to self-publishing on Amazon on the dismal state of affairs in the Indian publishing industry where only people with money can weild impact in the industry. But he has gathered a strong gathering on The Facebook page of 7 Seconds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aks23121990 (talkcontribs) 15:52, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Are you talking about yourself? That would be a conflict of interest. Are you trying to promote the books? Is the author notable? Does it already have an article in Wikipedia? (in order to appear in the list the subject must have an article). Are the sources to assert notability considered reliable? These are a few of the questions (explained in the links) that must be answered. -- Alexf(talk) 16:24, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexf you may have a look at the list of my books on Amazon. I write novels about sci-fi about alternative fuels, terrorism, equality, extraterrestrial origin of life & the space-age sci-fi that also discusses the origin of religion on Earth, a sci-fi novel about how China is penalized for its apparent COVID bioterrorism and its contribution to terror funding across the world about 30 years ahead in future.
I have also penned almost 2000 English poems, the most popular and appreciated among them is the poem titled “Angel?” that is about a sailor's unending search for love. An angel comes to him in the form of a mermaid, while he's on the sea, but disappears in the morning. He goes to the mountains in her search, but from there she leads him to another place and so the saga continues until the 7th poem in “The ‘Angel?’ Saga” on the Hello Poetry platform, where the first poem of this ethereal saga of love and longing has been read and reread by a great number of Mac addresses.

Tarun Tejpal has been omitted from this list. He has three highly successful published novels and two of those have been published abroad to great success. He has been celebrated by many fellow writers including Sir V S Naipaul. His right to be present as an Indian writer of significance cannot depend on the outcome of a court case against him in an entirely unrelated field. As a reader and fan of his work, I'd request an addition therefore. 110.227.158.127 (talk) 16:22, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
