Indonesia in science fiction[edit]

In John Birmingham's Axis of Time trilogy, an international task force of vessels in Indonesian waters accidentally time travels back from 2021 to 1942.
In the novelization of Star Trek: First Contact, the Indonesian Space Agency is a major organization in 2053, after World War III.
John Brunner's Stand on Zanzibar (1968) has the fictional country of Yatakang (a disguised Indonesia) in 2010 as a setting.
Lucius Shepard's 1990 novella, Kalimantan, is set in Borneo.

Enslavement of two Indonesian women on Long Island[edit]

There should be a Wikipedia article on Mahender Murlidhar Sabhnani and his wife, two South Asians and alleged "perfume moguls" who kept two Indonesian women as slaves in their Long Island, New York, home. RahadyanS 14:25, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of red-links[edit]

All names added which do not have connected articles are about to be removed ccording to the following criteria for Wikipedia English - at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:LISTS

there is a difference between what has happened here and what should happen at a legitimate list. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NOT#DIR

As a consequence - there is a need for all editors trying to add material here understand

Naming an item here means (a) 'an article exists with WP:RS, WP:N and WP:V guidelines as expected in English wikipedia

No article linked to = no mention here

No WP:RS, or items to help WP:V or WP:N in an article - no mention hre

As a consequence - if you find an article that you have added here has gone - please read carefully the guidelines above.

Removal of sections[edit]

As the project expands - some sections on the list do not reflect the fully available items - specially the stubs - as a result they are removed. Please help by adding only linked articles to this list thanks Satu Suro 06:59, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
