novel based[edit]

Shouldn't this say which episode's are based on Dexter's novels directly ? -- Beardo 00:49, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That could go in the summary? The JPStalk to me 01:30, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Remembered for the singing of Messiah "He was despised and rejected - a man of sorrows"[edit]

I am trying to trace an episode of Morse which started in a graveyard and ended tragically with a beautiful rendition of the above aria playing throughout. I would particularly love to know the name of the singer so that I can buy that version of the Messiah on cd because it was the finest rendering I heard and moved me to tears in conjunction with the episode. Please can anyone tell me the title of the episode and who the singer was?92.5.66.155 (talk) 00:53, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Series logo?[edit]

What is the origin of the cheap and tacky series logo currently attached to this entry (and the main programme page)?

It is certainly not sourced from the content of any of the episodes of the television series, and its infantility detracts from the article(s).

2 B Promoted (talk) 20:57, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have never seen it on the U.S. broadcasts. Might it be either something used to promote the books (which it looks like) or something ITV used in advertising? --Drmargi (talk) 21:17, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I did a little searching and found this and then walked the extremely long 20 feet from my computer to the shelves where I have the entire series (pant pant) and confirmed that this logo was used on the US DVD cover art. IMO should only be using logos from the show as broadcast in the UK so I am going to be WP:BOLD and remove it. Thanks to you both for your efforts. MarnetteD | Talk 22:02, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It has never been seen in Scandinavian airings. Boeing720 (talk) 19:50, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
