Player appearances[edit]

Pride of Anglis conflates the two cup competitions, so I've done the same. More puzzlingly, it ignores the "other" appearances in the totals. See Mick Mills page for an example. Not sure what to do (currently added it in). --Dweller (talk) 13:34, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've got a book at home which may be useful here, it's the one I used for the List of Ipswich Town F.C. players article... The Rambling Man (talk) 13:44, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK... so I'll leave it for now. --Dweller (talk) 13:48, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What is going on with the Goalscorers section? The years are completely wrong, whilst the league appearences bear no resemblence to those listed in the appearences section. пﮟოьεԻ 57 11:35, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's not finished! But while we're here, I'm sure there was a good reason for replacing all the &ndashes in the article, but your edit summary wasn't exactly very explanatory. Why? --Dweller (talk) 11:47, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, the main purpose of my edit was to correct the UEFA cup score vs Barcelona in 78-79 (it had read that we won 1-0 away when in fact we lost), the endash thing was just secondary - I just don't like seeing endash when I edit text, so replace them with non-coded endashes. пﮟოьεԻ 57 12:27, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers. For future reference, how does one produce non-encoded endashes? --Dweller (talk) 12:49, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Very simply, just code one in an edit box, show preview, then copy the dash from the article preview into the edit box. пﮟოьεԻ 57 13:15, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Or do Alt+0150. пﮟოьεԻ 57 14:28, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
