Weapons used versus weapons held in reserve

[edit]

The IS-2 is listed on this page as being used, but the IS-2 page mentions "A regiment of Chinese IS-2s was available for use in the Korean War, but saw no service there." So should this entry be removed or not? I know no references to the IS-2 being used at all in the Korean War, and the list does try to mention only the weapons that were actually used. I deleted it; if we're to include weapons "in reserve", could we not add dozens of American weapons that weren't used in the war?--172.190.168.201 (talk) 06:23, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Change

[edit]

I changed the section on communist shotgun It stated that the TOZ-194 was used which the TOZ-194 wasn't invented till a couple years before the Soviet union ended — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.184.89.216 (talk) 08:18, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

K-50M

[edit]

The K-50M obviously doesn't belong on this list, but because it has no page of its own (instead redirecting to the PPSh-41 page) I'm not sure how to remove the listing.--172.190.168.201 (talk) 06:08, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, my confusion/ignorance has cleared up for the time being.--172.190.168.201 (talk) 06:13, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fireflys?

[edit]

What source was used for the addition of the Sherman Firefly to the list? I have found nothing on the internet for it. ≈≈≈≈Visitor

BL 5.5 Medium Gun

[edit]

I've scoured the internet, thumbed through a few books, and researched Commonwealth artillery units that served in the Korean War and I haven't been able to find one credible source or picture that indicates that any BL 5.5 inch Medium Gun ever served in Korea at any point during or after the Korean War. The only sources I can find that say it did serve in Korea during the Korean War appear to use wiki as a source. Unless somebody can manufacture a credible source and/or picture I think it should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrniceguy101 (talkcontribs) 21:08, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
