Get rid of ratings?[edit]

I question whether there is any encyclopedic worth in tables of ratings, such as has been inserted into this article, together with a swarm of soapy citations which dwarfs other content. Such content is clearly time-sensitive, promotional in essence, and of relevance mainly to those with a personal or commercial interest in the product. If such details of reception are to be noted, this could be done with a short sentence, e.g., The production quickly became the top-rating show on ABC1, attracting an average of almost a million viewers nationwide."
