Just checking[edit]

For whoever did the chapters for the most recent volume, 43, was it confirmed that it included 3 more chapters than normal, 400-402? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.120.97.162 (talk) 02:26, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's 248 pages long, 56 pages longer than usual. Unless there's an extremely long omake in this volume, it should mean there's three extra chapters. ~SnapperTo 03:15, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Translations...[edit]

are the English names of the volumes supposed to be translated or the VIZ version? Because Naruto no kikyou doesnt mean Homecoming (it's naruto's homecoming. not really a huge difference but inaccuracies bug the hell outta me! lol) --208.71.222.225 (talk) 23:05, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We use Viz's translation when it's available. For everything else we use the literal translation. ~SnapperTo 03:09, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

picture[edit]

4.226.66.165 01:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)couldn't you try to find a picture of a collection of volumes from the second part (like volumes 28-39) and put it instead of the current picture?[reply]

It doesn't exist. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 01:25, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

search the internet —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.226.66.165 (talk) 02:14, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since you wish for such an image to be included, you may search for it yourself. I would be happy to include it (notwithstanding obvious mitigating factors) should you find one. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 02:21, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infor[edit]

In the info box, could we put a pic. of the latest volume instead? (volume 40) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.89.251.170 (talk) 01:37, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why. Putting the first one defines the second part of the manga series, as well as acting as a representation for that part of the series as a whole. Putting the latest one has none of those implications. Anyhow, we would have to update the image when every single new volume came out per your logic, which is neither an acceptable nor desirable outcome. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 01:43, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bi-monthly[edit]

viz is going to release one volume every two months (according the Shonen Jump Febubuary 2007 issue), so should we put release dates for the rest of the volumes?4.90.34.99 (talk) 20:31, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Until an official announcement is made, then leave it as is. They could suddenly decide to stop releasing volumes for four months or something; ergo, anything we put without an official announcement to back it up is original research. Regards, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 23:41, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Colored chapters[edit]

Are all the volumes available in color or does that apply for some of them?--MicroX 23:56, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Movie manga are the only volumes available in color. Everything else is black and white. ~SnapperTo 03:59, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

!!![edit]

Why do all the last 20 chapters or so end with two exclamation points? Did Kishimoto watch that episode of Seinfeld or something? I'm sorry if this sounds forum-y but it was really bugging me. BioYu-Gi! (talk) 21:22, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

95% of all Naruto chapters end with at least one exclamation point. It's nothing new. ~SnapperTo 03:08, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chapter's not in tankoban format.[edit]

I will be summarizing the naruto manga chapters left to be resoolved if anyone doesnt have a problem with it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.189.56.108 (talk) 21:13, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing as that would give a free invitation for over-detailed weekly updates, such an addition will be reverted. Save yourself an hour and don't do it. ~SnapperTo 03:13, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name of the current chapter[edit]

from where do you get the name for the current chapter? btw sry for my english ;) :D 84.135.181.35 (talk) 18:10, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering what the title is for chapter 419... Attack or Invasion? Ehccheehcche (talk) 20:48, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Viz plans to release another hoard of English-released Manga volumes again[edit]

I recently found this post [1] that Viz will be releasing 11 volumes in three months following the December release. But right now only Volumes 34-36 can be sourced with amazon.com that can help prove the accuracy of this claim, so what do you people make of it. -67.171.250.39 (talk) 16:48, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We're waiting for an official announcement before adding anything. ~SnapperTo 21:57, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Only English?[edit]

This is a featured list? How come there's only English volumes listed? Everyone knows of the English, the reason people would come here is to see whats up next in the latter volumes. – J U M P G U R U ask㋐㋜㋗ 18:35, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All the volumes are listed. It's only been released up to volume 44 in Japan. The Splendiferous Gegiford (talk) 18:45, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
In addition, volume 45 is commented out in the source (since I don't have any Japanese information for it). ダイノガイ?!」(Dinoguy1000) 23:16, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

English release for volume 47[edit]

You say February 2nd, but at the end of volume 46, it says 'December 2009'. What's wrong here? 58.172.8.238 (talk) 18:20, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"VS" transliteration[edit]

Beginning in volume 51 a title with "VS" has been transliterated to "bāsasu." All before this are written with the original VS in translit. For the sake of consistency, which of these usages should be kept? Examples found in the article:

V29, Translit Kakashi vs. Itachi!!, Original カカシVSイタチ!!
V51, Translit Sasuke bāsasu Danzō...!!, Original サスケVSダンゾウ...!! Spindori (talk) 22:14, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting the article[edit]

The article has gotten so large that it's passed Wikipedia's template include size, and as a result the navbox at the bottom of the page is malfunctioning. It probably won't be too long until other templates added to the page won't work properly either. Should the article be split in two or maybe could there be some other work-around?
