Since his one NHL game was a playoff game shouldn't his statistics be blank? Since he played that game with the Islanders shouldn't he have the red background and up-arrow? Playoff-only players are rare and of those only four were drafted. The others: Michel Deziel (Buffalo), Igor Nikulin (Anaheim), and Steve Andrascik (drafted by Detroit, played for NY Rangers). --Parkfly20 (talk) 20:59, 30 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Format and structure

[edit]

IMO, overkill in detailing stats in the table; it's making the table so wide that is doesn't fit next to the (seemingly unending) pictures of draft picks, so one has to scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the actual table. (For that matter, does this really need that many photos? I stopped counting after 30.) Having columns added for stats - with most of the goalie stats left blank since there's only so many goalies - just wastes space, and the stats themselves aren't even consistent. Are they all-time NHL stats? Are they stats for games only played with the Islanders? Who can tell since it doesn't say. (Hint: Billy Harris's stats are all-time NHL regular season, Richard Brodeur's are Islanders only, as an example) Too much detail for such a list, anyway. Suggest purging stats, leave them for the players' articles where there is room for more context. This will also narrow the table and thus the photos can appear next to it instead of above it. The top of the Draft picks section says "each player's career regular season totals in the NHL." Brodeur appeared to be the only retired player with inaccurate stats. The regular season stats are included in all the draft pick articles save for the Penguins article. -- As for the photos, 35 is way too much. Perhaps taking a third of that number and placing them below the table like the Flyers article would be the best approach? --Parkfly20 (talk) 17:43, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Issue with Images

[edit]

There is a long column of images on the right that I have to scroll past to get to the table. This should probably be remedied as it makes the list difficult to use for people with certain screen widths. Wugapodes (talk) 22:53, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Any way to fix this problem without removing the images completely? If not, the images can simply be removed. Gloss 23:16, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It’s wrong. Josh Bailey has played over 1000 games with the islanders 2600:1017:B83E:AA5E:B412:8A5B:15B5:B9E8 (talk) 21:12, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
