Literal translations[edit]

How—and who's going—to add the literal translations of Japanese episode titles, as well as Japanese language title of the films that P&S spoofs?

By the way, are you sure some of those "English" titles (like "The Runny" and "Transwhoremers") are official? JSH-alive talkcontmail 05:32, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Runny is more or less an adaptation of the movie's English title. Transwhoremers seems like the best bet considering the pronunciation of the katakana.

Number of episodes[edit]

ANN says, apparently citing Newtype, that there's 13 episodes and the last broadcasts just before Christmas (oy vey): http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=11605&page=25 --Gwern (contribs) 01:54 22 November 2010 (GMT)

Speaking of episode numbering, should we include an extra column for the Japanese episode listing (Gainax list each individual part as seperate episodes, for example episode 1's episode would be #1 and #2 respectively. Wonchop (talk) 21:54, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Next Season?[edit]

When is the next season coming? After the credits it said "to be continued at the next season". I'm looking forward to it!! 08:58 24 December 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.1.212.186 (talk) 02:59, 25 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

According to some streams Gainax have done, they said any second season would be up to Imaishi (the director). Wonchop (talk) 21:52, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Title's a reference to...[edit]

Currently, this episode list shows what each episode title is making a reference to by providing a link to corresponding Wikipedia articles. But many will think that those blue links are directing to articles about each PSG episodes, and most will have no idea if the episode title is a reference to the Japanese title of the subject (like Help! and The Mummy). Now, we have three options:

  1. Give an explanation at the "Aux1" field for each episode.
  2. Do it, instead at the end of episode description.
  3. Remove any kind of explanation about episode titles completely.

Are there reliable sources that make the links between the episode titles and the "references"? If not, then making such links is a violation of the no original research policy. —Farix (t | c) 15:15, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I concur with Farix; what happens in each episode does not appear to be parody, and thus without definitive evidence that the titles are parodies they should not be linked to the "original" title. Primefac (talk) 09:42, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've went ahead and removed the links. No mater how obvious the titles may seems to be parodies, without reliable, published sources to backing up the claims, such links are nothing but original research. —Farix (t | c) 13:18, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
