Creation

In an attempt to conform to my understanding of Wikipedia's philosophy, I moved these ever-growing lists from the main Phi Gamma Delta page to this page. More names and categories are expected to find their way here. PGD48 02:33, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Notable vs Famous

I noticed that "famous" has been changed to "notable". No real heartburn over it and I probably won't change it back. I just don't see what is gained in going from "famous" to "notable". But out of curiosity I have to ask why the change. Both words are subjective in nature and the Phi Gamma Delta website itself uses "Famous" (http://www.phigam.org/famousFijis.aspx?pageid=95). I notice that there doesn't seem to be a consistent policy regarding the use of "famous" in other fraternity Wiki articles (ATO, Sigma Nu, Beta Theta Pi, DKE...) I don't mind the change, but every fraternity should ideally be held to the same, consistent standards. Again, I don't have an issue with this. I just would like to know the rationale behind it as I am a relatively new Wiki user. Thanks. PGD48 01:29, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
