Nomenclature[edit]
This article lists and compares Municipalities of Portugal, not Cities of Portugal, which is a huge difference: The second-ranked Sintra is not a city at all and the third-ranked Vila Nova de Gaia as a city is only a part of the municipality of the same name. It would be ranked lower if cities were actually compared.
It should be renamed to List of Portuguese municipalities by population. --Walfisch5 (talk) 21:32, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
