Sept. 15, 2020: Why is there no mention of Erast Gliner? He coined the simplest example of the GEneric Object of Dark Energy theory, or GEODEs, to try explaining the expansion of the universe, specifically the De Sitter version. Some papers refer to this, and possibly other physicists missing from other lists. One example for Gliner, for example, is "Implications of Symmetry and Pressure in Friedmann Cosmology. I. Formalism" by CS Croker and JL Weiner in the Astrophysical Journal. The Wiki even has him mentioned but not hyperlinked in its article on GEODEs (Generic Object of Dark Energy). He is referenced in citation 12, "Algebraic properties of the energy-momentum tensor and vacuum-like states of matter".
