I have removed the tag to merge the episode guide and the references as there has been no discussion since the tag was put up. The deletion log had quite a few more keeps than merges. If you think that the article should still be merged then discuss here. Jack 10:42, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

My bad

  • Just seemed logical since most of the references have the show they come from listed, could be a good way to consolidate similar pages, making one better page. Thoughts? Judgesurreal777 15:03, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

on creating the Season 4 table I picked a colour for the spaces between episodes. I dont know if there's any significance to the colour used so I just picked green. If there is a colour scheme for the seasons it might be worth putting why on the page. BillPP 23:22, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Oh and the air dates I used are from The TV.com page on Samurai Jack. I'm assuming they're accurate.BillPP 23:30, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
They are accurate for the US. Seasons of Death and X9 were shown in Europe earlier than in the US. I'm not sure if this is note worthy or not. 71.254.74.219 18:36, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Idea

Maybe linking every episode to it in Toonami Jetstream so you can watch it? 189.5.143.217 18:13, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Sadly that's only available in the States. Don't know what you do then? Jack 21:04, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Only available in States? How? Don't understand, can't I acess their site? I though the problem was only my bad old cripled pc... 189.5.143.217 01:10, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Infobox problem

There's a problem with the episode lists inside what looks like each episode. If you list {{Infobox Samurai Jack Season 4}} for instance after that episode's infobox the list appears correctly formatted in a separate infobox below the episode info. If you insert it into the "list of episodes = " line like it is now, the list is displayed with formatting errors within that episode list infobox. I tried to fix it, but I don't seem to be having any luck. Anyone else want to take a look at it? Hewinsj 02:22, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Episodes titles

Where the episodes titles come from? There are not titles in the DVDs and on screen, just Episode I through LII. 213.156.52.100 (talk) 21:45, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure the titles are given in the end credits. Kenhullett (talk) 22:20, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Not in the US official DVD releases. I'm watching them this very moment, and in the end credits there are merely episode numbers (in roman numbers), that's all. Besides, in Episode XI end credits, the character here called "The Scotsman" (voiced by John DiMaggio) is credited as "Scottsman". 213.156.52.100 (talk) 22:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

I have sourced all the episode titles to official Cartoon Network home video releases and press releases. I've put one complete source in the lead (iTunes) and one source for the last four episodes in the lead (Cartoon Network press release, "Sayonara"). The iTunes titles match the Cartoon Network titles exactly. Titles found elsewhere on the internet are simply mistakes that are repeated over and over again—some can be traced to ToonZone ("Tale of X9" vs the correct "Tale of X49"), and some can be traced to an early pirated BitTorrent distribution of the DVDs that uses many wrong titles. The dates I cannot verify (except for the last four episodes) as even Cartoon Network gives different dates for episodes. Bright☀ 09:51, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

Episode titles again

Once again, the titles are all sourced to the official Cartoon Network releases and press releases. Other titles, such as ones found on torrent sites and wikis, cannot be used on Wikipedia. Bright☀ 07:57, 29 October 2017 (UTC)

Episode titles again again

All the episode titles are sourced to the official Cartoon Network releases and press releases. If you have a better source, provide it. Otherwise, don't change the episode titles. Bright☀ 11:46, 16 September 2018 (UTC)

'X9' is listed in the end credits as 'X49'. :) 2001:56A:F03F:5200:C02D:9959:5544:FE67 (talk) 05:10, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Season 2 episode 26 is missing

There is no episode 26 shown and episodes 21-25 are incorrect. Episode 21 should be Jack and the Farting Dragon (which is missing). After that, Jack and the Hunters should be 22 and so on in that order until 26. I would simply edit it myself, but I am unaware of the proper premiere dates of these 6 episodes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.165.203.53 (talk) 19:30, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Please do not use episode titles from TVTropes, IMDb, torrents, or other sites with user-generated content. See above. Bright☀ 10:40, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

Recent additions

Reposting this from my talk page: Recently quite of bit of info was added, and the problem with these new additions is two-fold: The info added changes what are supposed to be concise summaries into event-by-event re-tellings. In one instance, mention is added that a bridge is located in a region resembling the American South, and that a man is not just robust, but also aggressive. Neither of these are important to understanding the plot, instead they just seem to be information for the sake of information; The average reader gains no better understanding of the plot by these details being added. Another example is this added info: "The children are not easily convinced by these stories, as they call out Aku for his inaccurate and often contradictory portrayals of himself and Jack. Aku leaves in frustration and failure while the children make up their own story about Jack heroically killing him.". This info is just needless retelling of what the immediately preceding text already stated in much better brevity: "Seeking to weaken Jack's popularity among his subjects, Aku gathers the children of the world in his palace and tells them a series of "fairy tales", all of which portray himself as a hero and Jack as the villain.". When added after this first part, the text is now repeating itself, only this part sticks out like a sore thumb as the first part is a summary, and the latter a re-telling of events in the episode. Length should not be the goal here, either, since quality is what matters, and that lacking in these additions. In other words, all this new information is just not an improvement, but rather a lot of unneeded detail and re-telling. Eik Corell (talk) 21:15, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
