Opinion/Consensus?

Can we keep the episodes that have not currently aired hidden? We as of right now do not know if they will continue to air as this show has always been back and forth since the first season and we do not know if changes will happen or not in the schedule and when an episode does air the episode is unhidden and a summary is added. It looks a bit ridiculous right now. Please say if you Oppose or support this and reasons why. If further discussion is needed please post in the discussion/comment section. Thank you. ^_^ Swifty*talk 00:46, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

  • Support: As the page looks a bit ridiculous with all the TBA's and with this series a lot is unknown as to what will happen with it or if it will even continue to air or not as it has gotten taken off and on the schedule so much. ^_^ Swifty*talk 00:46, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Support: Considering that as the first season was airing, the final episodes were left hidden until they aired, the same should happen here. Just add a summary when the episode airs and reveal it at the same time. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 01:14, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Discussion/Comments
(Comment) While it would make the page look leaps and bounds better, the airdates and titles for all of the episodes do in fact have sources; someone higher up than me can probably rule if they are reliable or not. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 00:57, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
(Comment) Mainly I am talking about the TBA's in the summary and the fact that this show's been back and forth since it has aired, not talking about reliability of sources here bud, lol. ^_^ Swifty*talk 01:09, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Right, sorry about that. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 01:14, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Hot Dog Water

That is her credited name, and still is at the end of every episode since her name has been revealed and we must credit her as such. She is still called "Hot Dog Water" by everyone else, even Velma, who occasionally calls her by her real name, I have corrected this once more and as is per WP:COMMONNAME. If that is her common name and the name she is credited by it is our job to post it as such, not "Marcy "Hot Dog Water" Fleach" or "Marcy Fleach" she is just plain "Hot Dog Water". ^_^ Swifty*talk 03:37, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Tom and Tub's parents

"Tom and Tub's parents are said to be Dr. Paul Williams and Captain Michael Murphy." Is this respective? Meaning their full names are Tom Williams and Tub Murphy? Also the name of their submarine is Moby Dick. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 23:33, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

I was wondering the same thing, but I'm not really sure.Caringtype1 (talk) 23:36, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Night on Haunted Mountain

I see that some of the episodes that were named differently in the Season 2, Part 1 DVD are correct in the list, but "Night on Haunted Mountain" was changed back to "The Night on Haunted Mountain". It's shame that despite this being an encyclopedia it's not allowed to correct simple oversights like this. I realise that certain statements need a source such as why a season is put on an extended hiatus and for new voice actors voicing new characters (none of which has been sourced I might add), but a mistake in the episode's title should be immediately recognised and fixed such as "Night on Haunted Mountain". I guess it will just be done at some point when someone takes notice of the title card like with "The Secret of the Ghost Rig" vs. the incorrect title "Secret of the Ghost Rig". --Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 00:57, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

If it was disputed (which it was), you really need to get a source. It doesn't need to be included in the article, just put here to prove that the title is "Night on Haunted Mountain", because right now you have no source, and other editors seem to disagree with you about the title.Caringtype1 (talk) 01:22, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

All I can say is watch the episode and see for yourself. It's rather hypocritical asking for a source for a particular episode when none of the them have. It makes no difference to me either way if Wikipedia purposely refuses to correct decides to use an incorrect title for an episode, I'm just trying to help and make readers aware that it's the wrong title. And as far as "other editors" disagreeing you seem to be the only one. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 01:44, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

So you aren't even going to look for a source? A quick google search can confirm the title, which you seem to think is "Night on Haunted Mountain", for some reason. Also you had to change it to "Night...", which means another editor originally included it as "The...".Caringtype1 (talk) 02:20, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

I have googled it and I've gotten results either way, about half and half. Personally, I'm fine with it either way, until I see the episode again, at which point I would switch it to whatever the title card shows. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 04:35, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

@ Caringtype1: I don't think "for some reason", I know it's the right title. It doesn't matter if I google it because I would need a valid source wouldn't I? ScoobyFan.net says shows that tile, but it's just a fan site. If I was making this up why would I bother coming to the talk page? I wouldn't I, I would just be ignorant and just keep changing without a care what others think and what others think is to be honest wrong. Like I've said before the incorrect title comes from the list of episodes of the Season 2, Part 1 DVD. -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 13:43, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

I will say that we post it as what the title card in the episode says, that is the main and correct source. If the episode itself does not have the "The" in the title card then we probably should not post it with it. I have reverted edits on Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated for removal of the "The" in specific titles that the DVD removed on their listing and I have literally gone to the DVD and played the episode to see if the "The" is in the title card and for the episodes where the DVD listed them without are wrong. Just cause the DVD list says it as such does not make it right. That is my stand. ^_^ Swifty*talk 16:19, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

NOTE: I have every episode for season two that has aired downloaded on to my external harddrive and I have double checked this right now and Anything is right the title card does not have "The" in it so I am correcting this on both the main page and this page. ^_^ Swifty*talk 16:34, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

I'm glad this was able to be corrected. Amazon has posted the back of the box for Season 2, Part 1 and unfortunately it's official listed with "The...". I don't know why this couldn't be double checked by the studio. Also, there's a grammatical error in "The Night the Clown Cried II: Tears of Doom!", it should read "The Night the Clown Cried II - Tears of Doom!". -- Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 22:39, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Done. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 00:36, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
I have fixed this on the main page as well. ^_^ Swifty*talk 00:53, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
On another note, are "Web of the Dreamweaver" and "Art of Darkness" supposed to have exclamation marks appended to them? Because they just don't look right to me... Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 14:33, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
Checking now... ^_^ Swifty*talk 20:54, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

"Art of Darkness!" has the exclimation point I have to get back to you on "Web of the Dreamweaver" as I have the UK copy and it for some reason does not have the title card. :( ^_^ Swifty*talk 21:03, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

Scratch that I wasn't looking far enough into the episode to find the title card and yes both have ! in them. ^_^ Swifty*talk 21:06, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
Awesome, thanks. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 00:30, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
You're quite welcome ^_^ Swifty*talk 03:31, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

No new episodes since the 17th?

so have no new episodes aired since August 17th? I've been out of the country all week and haven't watched any episodes, and according to this article says that no 16th episode has aired. Is that correct?Caringtype1 (talk) 18:45, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

That is correct -- see here. They're not going to be playing any episodes past S2E15 for a while. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 18:57, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the clarification.Caringtype1 (talk) 18:58, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Not trying to be rude Caring but I feel it important to let you know that Wikipedia is not a forum and this could've been asked on a talk page of one the editors. All talk pages on here for pages like this are to be used for editing notices, posting sources, consensuses and stuff like that, not questions like these. As I said I am not trying to be rude I am just informing you of the information for future reference. Happy editing. ^_^ Swifty*talk 22:48, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

I was just wondering why this article didn't list any recent episodes. I didn't know is was going to go on a hiatus, and I was out of the country, so I didn't watch any episodes, and I didn't know what had happened. I could see your point if i was asking about the plot or something, but it was a valid question about the article.Caringtype1 (talk) 03:33, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
