A credits section is needed for each album
A good introductory paragraph and at least one other paragraph is needed.

Indeed. Basically, before splitting, one should ask themselves: "is there a chance in hell that a lone soundtrack article can ever reach Good Article status?" I think the answer is pretty clear that in this case, it's no. There's just no information to discuss on these. Album covers removed[edit]

Album covers are not supported in discographies. This has been long standing practice now and is not in dispute. Pick any random sampling of 50 articles from Category:Discographies. You will not find a single article in that category that contains album covers. If by some miracle you do find one, it will have only recently been added and the covers will be removed soon. I've removed the album covers again, as this is a clear violation of our guideline and policy. Do not re-add them. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 14:43, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I wonder why this statement hasn't been challenged; I saw the same words on other discographies. Can you stop removing album covers? I might be stupid but can you show me a policy of Wikipedia that forbids image covers? On the other hand, there is an option in Licensing when you upload an image that says Album or single cover. If it is truly long standing practice, mind showing me a discussion that establishes this? I don't really mean to be critical but I don't really like how this is going unchallenged... I'm going to copy and paste this on other things where I see Hammersoft's comment so that other users can join in this discussion... As I read it, the cover is allowed if you have critical commentary of the album but not if you are merely listing the album - as appears to be the case here. --Philosopher ^{Let us reason together.} 09:01, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
