Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on April 14, 2009.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that on two occasions, the TNA World Tag Team Championship has been held by individual wrestlers rather than tag teams?

Someone needs to add Eric Young to the tag team titles reign.[edit]

It was declared EY was a part of it under Freebird Rules. I'd gladly do it, but I haven't looked at the code for a page like this and it scares me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.185.250.142 (talk) 23:11, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He should be, but someone reverted it back saying only Hall and Nash are recognized as champions. Are you kidding me? Nash clearly said at Sacrifice that they're using the Freebird Rule and making Young a champion as well. What, because TNA doesn't find this important to write it down on their website means it's not official? They at least changed it on the roster site under tag champions it says "The Band" instead of days before where it said "Hall & Nash"66.177.8.38 (talk) 15:48, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJiKwCfZD4I Uh oh, here comes Eric Young WEARING THE TAG TEAM BELT. What can anyone say now?71.185.250.142 (talk) 01:24, 12 June 2010 (UTC)belthistoryguy[reply]

Start of Team 3D's first reign[edit]

Why is Team 3D's first reign listed as started on the AIRDATE of the episode? I thought it was wikipedia policy for reigns to begin on the actual day(ie. the day it was taped)? Dr Rgne (talk) 08:06, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We don't know which day TNA Today was taped, or that it was taped the day of or days before the day it aired.--WillC 15:32, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Young and Kaz[edit]

If TNA doesn't recognize the title reign.... then why does wikipedia? Isn't TNA the company who, you know, says what the title history is? Wikipedia reports information from other places. TNA says they weren't tag team champions... So they're not. 141.149.17.119 (talk) 01:00, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources show TNA recognized them as champions for a brief period, and they were stripped of the titles. They have to be champions, to be stripped of the titles. We publisher facts that can be backed up by reliable sources.--WillC 06:57, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dixie Carter's announcement[edit]

Dixie Carter via her twitter account just announced that the American Wolves are the New TNA World Tag Team Champions at a house show in Wheeling WV — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.138.212.177 (talk) 23:41, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Austin Aries and Bobby Roode were known as "Dirty Heels"[edit]

That's their tag team name. With them in the recent tag team tournament they've reminded people of their tag team name. I think it should be added here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.49.103.4 (talk) 07:49, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Date Won vs Date Aired[edit]

I think if we're not going to include both, then the date listed should be the date the title changed was televised 2601:346:C201:60C0:4107:AACE:FFA4:4BD (talk) 13:26, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
