Antanas Kavaliauskas

Antanas Kavaliauskas isn't an NBA player but is listed as so, is there any reason for this? Robhakari (talk) 15:32, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Fixed. He plays for a Greek professional team now. BlueAg09 (Talk) 17:26, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Should remove asterisks and alumni references

A&M doesn't distinguish between alumni and non-alumni. Rather, the distinction is between Former Students and not former students, and as such, the page shouldn't distinguish either. Rip Torn's as much of an Aggie as James Earl Rudder, regardless of graduation status. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.248.81.254 (talk) 13:18, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Edit to list

I apologize, but I removed Michael Smith from politicians because he is a city council member in a city with a population of under 20K and has done nothing of notice during his career as such since he was recently elected. Being a City Council member is not in itself noteworthy as I am sure several other Aggies have been members of other city councils and have not been deemed significant enough for this list. Individuals should avoid writing articles about themselves or adding themselves to lists.76.255.108.174 (talk) 01:05, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Re: Please hold on a minute

I removed a lot of individuals from the business section because the list had very few actual links to other wikipedia pages; it was just a lot of red. I kept the names and titles of those I removed with the intent of creating wikipedia pages for those individuals and then linking to them from this list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Matt.a.w (talkcontribs) 22:25, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

The problem is that inclusion on this list is not predicated upon having a Wikipedia page. Red links (while I don't personally like them on Featured Articles) are a good thing for Wikipedia. A perfect example is General Hollingsworth, the most decorated Aggie soldier. Clicking such a red link allows you to easily create an article. If it is a link to something that will never be an article, then remove the link, but consider that some things will only get articles in the future; allowing for that possibility makes the red links appropriate. — BQZip01 — talk 22:43, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Texas A&M faculty and affiliates

Can someone with more advanced editing skills take a look at this section? All the Departments have a strange text ("style="text-align:center;"). I can't seem to get it to go away. (003FX 16:40, 8 September 2017 (UTC))
