Pilot[edit]

I copied the promo pilot summary to here:Talk:List of The Real Ghostbusters episodes/Temp Since I wrote it myself. Dr. Stantz (talk) 18:07, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That really doesn't belong in the episode list, though. It wasn't aired and isn't a real episode, its a promo and more production related. Should probably be mentioned in the main article as part of the overall production info as part of its creation process. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 23:51, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have no opinion about the inclusion of this pilot, but since there was an earlier, clean version of this article did not use it to replace the page. I have merged it into the talk page here, so you can find the text in history, here, in case it will be useful to you and other editors in rebuilding content. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:26, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

019 Cry Uncle - Ohio is 1500 miles from NYC?[edit]

From the show: Egon: "But New York is over 1500 miles from here!" (Peter: "It's a big neighborhood.") Ohio is between 340 and 580 miles (border to border) from New York. If we assume Egon Is Always Right (Eventually), then 1500 miles + "midwest" (which was stated in the episode as well) would put Spengler Labs in far western Nebraska - likely Kimball, Scotsbluff or Gering (all right about 1500 miles from New York City, depending on the borough). The western borders of the Dakotas are about 1490 miles, and the south-west border of Kansas is about 1470 miles from New York, and just south of Kimball, NE is Colorado, which is almost always considered a Mountain state. Thus, Spengler Labs is most likely located in Scottsbluff, Kimball or Banner counties, Nebraska. This also excludes Texas and Oklahoma, which are traditionally considered either Southern or Southwestern states. Plus, the possibility that Dr. Cyrus Spengler was working on a defense-related project of some kind would also make south-west Nebraska a likely location, due to its proximity to Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado and Offut AFB, (near Omaha) NE. This is why I changed the episode description to "midwest" (leaving it ambiguous) instead of directly stating Ohio or Nebraska. [Edit by neoterranova@aol.com - I forgot to log in, sorry]

Transylvanian Homesick Blues[edit]

I don't think it could have aired on December 19, 1987. Considering it dealt with someone using a real gun, a no-no for ABC. Pretty sure it aired December 11, 1987.--47.232.228.134 (talk) 17:27, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The episode list is a mess and needs revised and verified[edit]

Missing episodes, incorrect air dates

My guess is the book these were sourced from sourced from publicly available TV listings which can often be flawed due to schedules changing after publication. Happens all the time (the Invader Zim episode, "Door to Door", was pre-empted from its originally published air date of 14 Sep 2001 to spring 2002 with a planned edited scene because it depicted NYC getting destroyed and 9/11 happened between publication of listings and airing). 2600:1016:B04B:83C7:C57D:A1DA:9FA4:99FD (talk) 05:46, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
