To Do

  • Better columns.
    • Better column order; Title, date, # or Title, date, series #, #
    • Should probably use just one title and mention other in summary.
    • Choose just one #; just the season one?
    • Bold and quote the titles.
  • Better table with Template: Episode list.
  • Make individual pages for episode summaries that get too large and replace with small summary.
  • Better lead paragraph. Should be 3-5 sentences long. - Peregrinefisher 02:58, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

FIX TITLES!!!!

I can do it because the season one episodes are wrong. I have the Dvd and the titles are like really jacked up.

I have reverted your edit. These titles are correct as per the Region 4 DVD, that includes 2 episodes the Region 1 DVD doesn't even have. Don't change them again without discussion first. A source cited would also be appreciated. Celebrity-Benji 12:32, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Look I changed them for the people in AMERICA. If you look in the dvd set of The Simple Life Sesaon 1 (THE AMERICAN VERSION!!!) MY titles are RIGHT. End of disscusion. Jtervin 16:12, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

No. Don't modify again or I'll report you. Your edits are vandalism and your lack of compassion or discussion with other members is appauling. Celebrity-Benji 05:16, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

No they are not vandalism. Buy the american version of the dvd which is where the show is from and it was released by fox and MY titles are right. There is nothing to discuss. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DISCUSS?!?! I am right. Where did you get your information? If i have to prove MINE to you YOU can prove yours to me.Jtervin 05:27, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Jtervin, perhaps a reread of WP:CIVIL might be in order. You'll be interested to note that it applies to your interactions with all Wikipedia editors. There are no second-class editors here. I will continue to revert your edits, you have not provided any citation to back up your edits. I have the Region 4 DVD, it contains the complete season, the Region 1 DVD is missing two episodes. For this reason, I believe the titles I've provided are correct. I'm less inclined to look up what the Region 1 DVD may say, as it's not even a complete season.
You're making cogent arguments but you refuse to debate them. "MY titles are RIGHT. End of disscusion" etc. If you are interested in defending this article as you perceive it, you can't just say "I refuse to discuss it with you" to an editor you disagree with. You don't have that option. If you want to have a leg to stand on for making such a major edit, you take it to talk and you calmly and civilly prove me wrong. You are yet to demonstrate this. No matter how obvious the answer may seem to you, you still have to explain it. Celebrity-Benji 05:28, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Look dude I am telling you that The region one DVD IS a complete season but I do apoligize for my rude beahior. Jtervin 05:52, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Appology accepted, but the Region 1 DVD is missing the Lost Episode and the Reunion Episode. It's not complete at all. You still haven't cited a source, so I'm reverting again. Please see WP:Citing Sources before editing again. Celebrity-Benji 05:59, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Ok I will scan the dvd thing and NOT change the titles until then. Also, The Lost Episode is on the season two DVD and in America the reunion had plans to release but The Simple Life was such a big hit it was put onto DVD the day after the finale aired so they never released it. However I didn't edit the lost episode or reuinon in anyway. Jtervin 06:15, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Titles Resolution

The dispute in regards to the titles has to have a resolution. Therefore I propose, due to the factor of differing titles on subsequent DVD releases, both titles should be present in the guide. Under titles for example, it should have The American title AKA the international title. They are obviously known by two names, and this should be addressed. Celebrity-Benji 06:16, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Wow! Good Thinking! Thanks also for being so nice about this. Sorry I was so mean. And yea that is good so it confuses nobody. :) :) Jtervin 06:25, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm glad that's sorted. Both titles are now present. :) Celebrity-Benji 06:25, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Thank You! :)Jtervin 06:28, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

The Lost Episode

I also think that in the info for The Lost Episode that it should be said that in the USA it was on The Simple Life - The Complete Second Season dvd as The Simple Life Season 1 - Lost Episode. What do you think? Jtervin 06:28, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

OK, so how about we point out how it was included on the Season 2 DVD in the USA, but on the Season 1 DVD international, and the Reunion episode is only on the international Season 1 DVD but not on DVD at all in the States? Celebrity-Benji 06:31, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Sounds great! :) Jtervin 06:39, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Done :) Celebrity-Benji 06:38, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Cool. Thanks :) Jtervin 06:39, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Tone

The tone of some of the episode summaries is terrible, especially the 4th season. Many sound like cheesy ads. This definately needs to changed. Herorev 08:52, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Look above at To Do, they're being worked on. Celebrity-Benji 08:24, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
