Centaur upper stage[edit]

Hello: It would be helpful if someone could add to the table an indication of whatever of the Titan IIIs and Titan IVs had Centaur upper stages. That powerful upper stage made a HUGE difference in the capability of the rocket to launch heavy or long-distance (space probe) payloads. For example, the CASSINI-HUYGENS mission was the only space probe that used the Titan IV Centaur combination, and that was needed to send the heavy Cassini-Huygens a long, long way to Saturn, and still needing the benefit of two fly-bys of Venus, one of the Earth, and one of Jupiter to make it that far.
Other sources say that the Titan IIIE Centaur was used extensively for launching space probes. Of only seven launches of this combination, the first one was a launch failure, but the other six successfully launched Helios 1, Helios 2, Viking 1, Viking 2, Voyager 1, and Voyager 2. The two Helios probes, make in West Germany, went to an orbit inside that of Mercury to be able to observe the Sun closely, and as is well-known, the two Vikings were pairs of orbiters and landers sent to Mars, and the two Voyagers, were sent to the outer Solar System and beyond to observe, Jupiter, Saturn, Titan, Uranus, and Neptune, with only the Voyager 2 flying by all four of the planets.
