Talk:List of Virtual Console games for Nintendo 3DS (PAL region)
Region
[edit]Aren't these type of articles usually made for all regions, and then within the article there's a column or way to inform what region it applies to. Kind of like List of WiiWare games? Doesn't seem like we need 3+ versions of this article around... Sergecross73 msg me 14:35, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- There will be huge differences between regions making it difficult to handle. List of Virtual Console games (Wii) was also split for a good reason. 193.191.216.25 (talk) 07:26, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
When was Mario's Picross announced?
[edit]I don't remember it being announced, and I'm sure I don't remember it being on the list before--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 18:12, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
Ambassador program
[edit]Does anyone know if all the games will appear at once on September 1st, or if it'll be like the other eShop updates, with 1 or 2 games every week, starting from September 1st?--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 14:58, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
- As far as any sources I've seen, they've just said "Sept 1st". They haven't really specified beyond that. I imagine they may reveal that when they reveal the 2nd half of the games available too... Sergecross73 msg me 16:37, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
- No... you obviously misread what I said (lol rhymes). I meant do we know if we're going to get like 1 game per week, or if a whole bunch of games will be available ON September 1st? Note, they said "starting September 1st", they didn't exactly specifically say it was "on September 1st".--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 23:33, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- No, I knew you were asking that, I guess I just didn't answer it very well. Basically, I was saying that the detail you're asking about has yet to be clarified. Sergecross73 msg me 14:12, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

Pricing
[edit]On the Wii VC pages they simply list the generic price at the top (e.g. "Super Nintendo Entertainment System (800 Wii Points)") and post exceptions next to each title ("Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (900 Wii Points)"). Since there's a bit more fluidity with 3DS VC pricing, would it perhaps be appropriate to include a price column in the table? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.155.145.139 (talk) 12:07, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
Kid Icarus only available as a reward initially
[edit]I don't know how to add the appropriate note, this is from Club Nintendo Europe:
Note that on the 5th of January 2012 3D Classics: Kid Icarus will only be available for people who qualify for the Nintendo 3DS Games Registration Reward. The game will be available for other Nintendo 3DS owners at a later stage.

Original Platform for 3D Classics games
[edit]I'd just like to note that this isn't recorded anywhere but on the North American 3DS VC page. See:
The 3DS eShop
All regional Nintendo websites
List of Virtual Console games for Nintendo 3DS (Japan)
List of downloadable PlayStation 3 games - For games such as Sonic the Hedgehog being re-released
List of Xbox Live Arcade games - For the Classics genre
This really doesn't need to be recorded. If we want uniformity, it should be removed from the North American 3DS VC page.121.208.198.62 (talk) 02:40, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Number count of games is really unnecessary
[edit]I'm going to replace them with the year each system was made. The North American 3DS VC doesn't keep count so neither should the PAL 3DS VC. (50.121.47.143 (talk) 04:55, 17 December 2012 (UTC))
Only NA Virtual Consoles pages don't keep count. Other VC pages do and remain that way. Please stop changing whole time! Ratengo (talk) 05:33, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
That's just stupid. JP and EU can keep count but not NA? WTF!! (50.121.47.143 (talk) 07:03, 17 December 2012 (UTC))
- If you wish to discuss how the North American page does things, please do so on the talk page for the North American list. Disrupting other pages to make a point is wholly inappropriate. Please limit your discussions to the talk page and stop creating problems in other articles. --McDoobAU93 07:35, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Also, NA VC pages have Developer columns while others don't. Please remember that Wikipedia isn't America-centric. Ratengo (talk) 07:45, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
The "Game Boy", "Game Boy Color", and "Game Boy Advance" entries need to have "Nintendo" at the beginning of them
[edit]I think it would look better like that. (67.219.94.174 (talk) 05:25, 21 December 2012 (UTC))
- Okay, so why do you think they would look good this way on this page but not on the North American page? You're now in violation of WP:POINT, where you're disrupting Wikipedia in order to prove a point. This action needs to stop and stop now. --McDoobAU93 05:27, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
I'm so sick you stupid mods wanting a page to look a certain way. What a bunch of rude jerks you guys are being. What gives you the right and power over what can be edited and what can't. You guys are real pricks. You're all like, "IT HAS TO BE THIS WAY OR ELSE". YOU GUYS NEED TO STOP IT!! Wikipeida can be edited by anyone and kept that way as long as it's not a rumor. (67.219.94.174 (talk) 05:30, 21 December 2012 (UTC))
- And you need to stop with the personal attacks. If this is the way you want it, why are you fighting against it on the North American page? --McDoobAU93 05:33, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Look just keep it like that okay!! As long as it's NOT A RUMOR. I don't see why you guys have to be picky! (67.219.94.174 (talk) 05:34, 21 December 2012 (UTC))
- Playtime is now over. You've violated WP:3RR here. --McDoobAU93 05:38, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
You guys are real jerks. HOW THE FUCK am I spamming. God, mods are real jerks, here's why: http://search.sys-con.com/node/1036826 (67.219.94.174 (talk) 05:39, 21 December 2012 (UTC))
- You are always welcome to add new information to the article when available, not to change the structure itself without support from other editors. Ratengo (talk) 11:16, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Consensus on a few things - centralized discussion
[edit]I'm trying to find consensus on a few recurring issues on these eShop pages, and as such, have started a more centralized discussion at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_Virtual_Console_games_for_Nintendo_3DS_(North_America)#Finding_consensus_for_a_couple_of_things. Please participate if you have any thoughts on this. Thanks! Sergecross73 msg me 15:21, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Mega Man 6 rating
[edit]The recent rating for Mega Man 6 can be found here. This means that Mega Man 6 is coming to 3DS VC, not that Mega Man 4 or 5 are coming. There have been many cases in which sequels have been released on VC before earlier games in the series. If we were to change Mega Man 6 to Mega Man 4 in the future releases list, we should also change Sonic Drift 2 to Sonic Drift and Super C to Probotector, despite it being those games which were rated and are to be released and not the original games. Please stop changing this, as it is incorrect. Cloud789 (talk) 04:39, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
What the hell? Where the hell is Mega Man 4 and Mega Man 5 then? How do you only rate MM6 and not MM4 and MM5? How stupid beyond words! (192.182.63.254 (talk) 05:56, 16 April 2013 (UTC))
- The problem is with the ACB, as it doesn't rate games twice. Mega Man 4 and 5 were already rated for their Wii VC releases therefore they don't need to get rated again. However, Mega Man 6 is getting released for the first time on 3DS VC, so it received its first rating last week. This confirms that Mega Man 6 is being released, however we would only be making assumptions that Mega Man 4 and 5 are being released based on the fact that Mega Man 6 is being released. That Mega Man 6 is being released does make a good argument for the releases of Mega Man 4 and 5, however the only fact that we can pull from the sourced material is that Mega Man 6 is being released, so that's what we can list on Wikipedia. I believe it's covered in Wikipedia policies under Wikipedia:Verifiability. This also means that we have to list games such as Probotector II under Super C and Sonic Drift Racing under Sonic Drift II, as that's how they're listed in the source. The assumption would be that their American versions will be released instead of their PAL versions, which has happened in the past for seemingly no reason (Some cases are listed under Release Notes in the Wii VC page). Cloud789 (talk) 02:07, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
No Proof
[edit]Nintendo or Sega didn't confirm that the 3D Classics are coming to the PAL regions. Also, why aren't they in the North American section? 76.169.155.70 (talk) 03:06, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- You didn't check the ACB ratings, did you? Ratengo (talk) 08:41, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
