Frank Lloyd Wright and House on the Rock (Lower Wisconsin River Road)

[edit]

I've updated the section on Lower Wisconsin River Road. Previously, it implied that Frank Lloyd Wright designed (or perhaps owned) House on the Rock. The main article on House on the Rock makes it clear that Wright has no such relation to the house. The actual architect is Alex Jordan Jr, who had promoted the attraction with a story of Wright disparaging a different design by Jordan. According to the story, Jordan built House on the Rock to counter Wright's negative review. However, certain elements of that story are improbable - see the Background section. Were this story more plausible, it might be appropriate to describe House on the Rock as inspired by Wright. However, given the discrepancies in the story, "potentially-Wright-inspired" seems more appropriate, while still connecting both buildings to Wright, as the original text intended.
