Listing all these hijack cases and hangar fires does nothing to describe the in-service safety record of this particular aircraft.

Apart from that, I think this list is far too long for inclusion in the main Il-14 article.

Not an Il-14 crash?[edit]

The "Il-14" that was seen derelict in 1991, was not an Il-14, but an Il-12. According to this source [1] the registration (CCCP-41807) comes up as an Il-12D; the c/n is also incorrect; ASN lists it as 93013318 (which is also an Il-12), but the correct c/n is 93033819.
