Started list[edit]

Hi, I am a newcomer to starting lists. This is my first one. Any advice on anything would be appreciated. Thanks. — Andy W. (talk/contrb.) 00:30, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't look at the coding, but it looks good overall. The bolding should be removed from the title of awards per MOS:BOLD; only the headers should be in bold. You should also center the cells that say "Pending" for consistency. BOVINEBOY2008 :) 00:46, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I found a similar featured list, List of awards and nominations received by No Country for Old Men, so I'm using that as a sort-of "guideline". I decided not to center the yellow "Pending" box, because it is just a template, and results that follow will immediately replace the box with a "Won" or a "Nominated", which is centered. Cheers! — Andy W. (talk/contrb.) 01:05, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Credit order[edit]

The Writer's Guild website http://www.wga.org/content/default.aspx?id=3904 gives the credit order for Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner as:
Up in the Air, Screenplay by Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner; Based upon the novel by Walter Kirn; Paramount Pictures
Orderright (contribs) reversed this order. I believe this to be incorrect. These were the only edits made by Orderright. --Dan Dassow (talk) 22:22, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Go forth and make the correct edits concerning each nomination. If you think the order for some/all are wrong, just revert it. — Andy W. (talk/contrb.) 22:24, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done. If Orderright can provide evidence to support his/her contention. I will change it back. --Dan Dassow (talk) 22:35, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Premature BAFTA nominations inclusion[edit]

77.251.19.238 (talk) is correct that the BAFTA nominations will be announced tomorrow. What had been included in this article was the BAFTA longlist. Up in the Air (film) has the potential of receiving nine nominations tomorrow.

O'Neil, Tom (2010-01-07). "BAFTA's long lists led by 'An Education' at 17 mentions; 'Inglourious Basterds' at 14". Los Angeles Times. Retrieved 2010-01-08.

BBC News announced the BAFTA short list nominees on January 21, 2010. I update the article accordingly. --Dan Dassow (talk) 13:57, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2009 The IMP Awards Winners[edit]

Is the Internet Movie Poster (IMP) Awards notable? The poster for Up in the Air (film) won the 2009 IMP Award for "Bravest" Poster.
Sources:

I'm not so sure. I haven't seen other film articles that includes this award, but you can go browsing around to see if any film award list includes it. I would personally leave it out, but maybe perhaps include a short paragraph/note section explaining this IMP award. — Andy W. (talk/contrb.) 15:09, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Andy, at this time I am inclined to leave it out. The citations are here just in case there is a reason to mention it in the future. --Dan Dassow (talk) 16:35, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Name change[edit]

See Talk:List of accolades received by Almost Famous#Requested move for details. --Dan Dassow (talk) 03:36, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Linked dates[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Linking#Chronological items, I do not believe the dates show be linked. --Dan Dassow (talk) 08:13, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Look where the dates go. That only applies to linking to articles like 23 September, which isn't being done here. Courcelles (talk) 08:15, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Now, I understand. The date is linking to the Wikipedia article of the specific event rather than to the date itself. --Dan Dassow (talk) 06:14, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

HPA Awards[edit]

I removed the Hollywood Post Alliance Awards (HPA) from the infobox since according to HPA Awards 2009 Nominees and Winners it was not nominated. --Dan Dassow (talk) 18:50, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
