Charles Rose Airport still exists[edit]

I recently found out that the Charles Rose Airport is not a former airport, and still exists. It's basically a grassy field with a wind sock, and a barn. The problem is, I have no idea if it's a private airport, or what the status of the airport is. Is anybody here willing to find out? -- DanTD 12:27, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The FAA data shows a private airfield named Rose Field (2NK3) in Orient, so I moved the airport from the "Former" section to "Private". -- Zyxw (talk) 20:59, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I was wondering what the status of this airport was. I've honestly seen nothing about it outside of old Hagstroms' Road Atlases, and when I found out it was still around on a drive along the North Fork this summer, I was surprised. I thought the place was either sold to a developer or acquired by Suffolk County as a nature preserve of some kind. ----DanTD (talk) 22:10, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mitchel Air Force Base[edit]

So why isn't Mitchel Air Force Base on this list? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 12:46, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The website says that a primary airport has more than 10000 enplanements. But the table labels Ogdensburg Intenational Airport as nonprimary, even though it has an enplanement of over 10000. How come?...If no answers this question, I'm going ahead and moving OGS to the primary section. Inkan1969 (talk) 03:35, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
