Split?[edit]

Since the country of Serbia and Montenegro no longer exists, is this article going to be split into the present countries of Serbia and Montenegro? -- Hmains (talk) 19:35, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions[edit]

Some of the species do not live in Serbia any more (Little Bustard) and others never did (Phalacrocorax aristotelis). I also suggest inclusion of official names in Serbian. 91.150.77.74 (talk) 13:10, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We are all volunteers. If you have a reliable source which has the names in Serbian, please add them with a reference. SchreiberBike | ⌨  17:49, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removal Suggestions[edit]

  • Suggestion to remove White-eyed gull, Ichthyaetus leucophthalmus as there are no known records in Serbia, areal is far away from Serbia and it seems to have been accidentally added in clean up update on 22:21, 7 January 2021‎.
  • Suggestion to remove Rose-ringed parakeet, Psittacula krameri as all known records are escapees, it is not known that they breed in the wild in Serbia, and seems to have been accidentally added in clean up update on 19:45, 11 January 2021‎.
  • Suggestion to remove Western Orphean warbler, Curruca hortensis and Western black-eared wheatear, Oenanthe hispanica as in both cases areals of Western species are far enough from Serbia and after the splits there are only records of Eastern species. Records before the splits refer to Western species names causing confusion, as most likely they were actually records of current Eastern variants. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.240.144.101 (talk) 12:07, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
