Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... it is not a copy of nor even derived from the South Carolina page cited as the "source" (http://collegegirlwebcams-cg.blogspot.com/2017/10/list-of-birds-of-south-carolina-birds.html). Yes, if you look at the South Carolina page and compare it to the Shenandoah list you will see some resemblance. That's because the blog has copied the entire Wikipedia article "List of birds of South Carolina" (without citing the source) and added photos. Also, look at the Shenandoah list's cited sources; you'll see that the principal one is public (US government). Craigthebirder (talk) 15:24, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because this page uses source material substantially older than the page identified http://collegegirlwebcams-cg.blogspot.com/2017/10/list-of-birds-of-south-carolina-birds.html . Update the taxonomy to the June 30, 2020 AOS NACC version. Changes are per AOS unless noted otherwise.
Revise the sequence of species in family Phasianidae (Pheasants, grouse, and allies).
Revise the references and text in the introduction.
Revise multiple families' common names per Clements.
