creation of this page
[edit]I've taken the information on this page wholesale from the entry 'artist's book' (it constituted a subsection of that article), as (a) much of the text tends towards the promotional, and (b) it deserves its own pages and the artist's book definition deserves to be much more succinct and uncluttered. See the talk page at 'artist's book' for more details.
Further, the most significant entries on this page should probably each have their own article and should also be added to the categories of 'artists books' and/or of 'book arts' and/or of 'artists books and multiples'. Once that work is done, this page should probably be deleted.
Also, much of the info here is taken directly from institutions' websites (it's all blurbs!) and needs to be rewritten for NPOV.

April 2010 -- Edits, sourcing and notability
[edit]I question edits made by at least two editors -- User:OneMarkus and User:Artintegrated -- to this and other articles about artists and organizations of questionable notability. As edits I have made related to WP:BLP, WP:RS, WP:N and other Wikipedia policy and guidelines have been reverted, I have started discussions here and on other related talk pages to discuss the future edits and existence of these articles. - As the old thread above says, this whole page needs drastic cleanup for neutrality and external links. -- Quiddity (talk) 18:09, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- And as native German, I would be pleased if the German Part of BookArt could find a place as well. --Galileo1642 (talk) 15:03, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Fixup
[edit]I started to try to fix this article up. its more like our bibliographies, as it lists a lot of items that are themselves not notable enough for their own article. promotional language needs to be removed, and items simply listed. I added a lead, and some guidelines for inclusion, in addition to renaming it. I dont actually think its salvageable, but i can make it less offensive.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:19, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
