A partial list

[edit]

At this time the list includes 32 cemeteries. There are thousands of cemeteries in Tennessee; some counties have more than 150 cemeteries. Even if we ignore the small "family" cemeteries and include only the public cemeteries in each city of Tennessee, the list is incomplete and evolving.PårWöet (talk) 17:11, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Removed all the cemeteries without WP articles, added all the cemeteries that I could find WP articles for; subdivided into lists for each of the Grand Divisions of the state. E&OE. PårWöet (talk) 22:01, 10 February 2020 (

Notables

[edit]

I've removed the details of notable memorials etc. from the cemeteries and replaced them with a single indicator: ‡ Some of the "notables" were one or a few of a much larger number and making the entry comprehensive would have added too much clutter, so I think the indicator will be enough to point people to the cemetery article itself.
