Fair use rationale for Image:AtomicBetty.jpg[edit]

Image:AtomicBetty.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

AfD and Rescue[edit]

Following the listing of the article at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of characters in Atomic Betty, I added the rescue tag, although, one can see from the history that I've been working like a 1-person wikiproject in getting this thing written concisely, cleanly, and cited. Backup would be appreciated. --BlueSquadronRaven 16:57, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per instructions on Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron, it is better not to tag an article that you yourself have been involved with. You can post on that page instead. Best wishes, — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:59, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As nominator of the article, you should let someone from ARS tell me that. --BlueSquadronRaven 17:33, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note on edit to Betty Clones entry [edit made 8/21/2011 before 1:20 am][edit]

The previous version of the article suggested that Optica, Destructa, and Roxanne were the names of the clones. That was not correct. In their introductory episode "The Trouble with Triplets", Maximus words were "I introduced DNA from Optica the Fire Witch, Destructa the Rock Princess, and Roxanne the Rubber Woman..." Those were the names of the 2nd source of the clones' respective DNA, not the names of the clones themselves. They were referred to individually as Clone Betty 1, Clone Betty 2, and Clone Betty 3. Optica, Destructa, and Roxanne would genetically be the other parents of the Betty Clones (making the clones half-sister). If these names were to be applied to the Betty Clones at some point, they would then be the second in the line to receive the name, with "Jr." or "II" ("the second") placed after their names. So far that has not happened on the series as of yet [this is based upon seeing the episode "The Trouble with Triplets", "The Cheerleaders of Doom", and "The Way of the Weiner". I'm not aware of other episodes in which they appeared, and only "The Trouble with Triplets" references their parents' names or their individual designations.] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.22.47.10 (talk) 06:21, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
