[edit]

I agree that wikimedia foundation should be in the "W" section, but "bumping" it up the list seems a little bit strange and inconsistent. Of course I support wikipedia, but unfortunatly it prohibits self promotion :P. Put it back in alphabetical order like everything else! --Gigitrix (talk) 15:33, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Where???

[edit]

Charitable foundations where? New Zealand? Ireland? For which country/countries is this list valid? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.77.42.56 (talk) 18:57, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Scope of List

[edit]

This list could get extremely large unless scoped appropriately. Really it's essentially acting as an alphabetical category list. Suggest change to List of Global charitable foundations, or List of International charitable foundations at the very least; even then I'm not sure what benefit a list has over a category. Add Workforce Opportunity Services

[edit]

The nonprofit Workforce Opportunity Services (wforce.org) should be listed in this list.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.46.252.122 (talk) 00:53, 1 February 2018‎

Not done: There is no article for Workforce Opportunity Services. This should only be added if reliable, independent sources can be found which demonstrate that Workforce Opportunity Services meets notability guidelines (such as Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)). Hello, I would like to add Utemuratov charity fund - www.utemuratovfund.org.

[edit]

The foundation spends millions of US dollars in different projects, such as construction of new schools in poor regions of Kazakhstan, the construction of houses for families affected by the fires and floods, the construction of botanical garden and many other. One of the largest projects of the foundation is the autism centers being operated in 11 cities of Kazakhstan. The centers were constructed by the foundation and were transferred to the ownership of the government of Kazakhstan.
