Page created to fill a percieved gap between List of railway lines in Great Britain and List of closed railway stations in Britain. Its very much a work in progress... Supergolden 08:06, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a reference to the "Watford and Rickmansworth Railway" this was short lived but did exist. Wilmot1 13:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can this page be added somehow: (sorry i dont know how) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunstable_Branch_Lines —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.106.146.166 (talk) 15:09, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added information to the Wye Valley Railway and added the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk & Pontypool Railway to the list.

"Most of these old railway lines have since re-opened"

[edit]

The article states in the second line, "Most of these old railway lines have since re-opened"; surely this is not true? Certainly the table has mostly blank or "partially reopened" in the notes, not suggesting 'most' at all. Furthermore, the article on Beeching cuts states "A few of these routes have since reopened". I can't see a definitive figure on that article, but "most" seems wildly inaccurate? Grunners (talk) 22:02, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
