"Military Boats"??[edit]

How about Naval warships? or Naval vessels? Almost all of these craft are ships, not boats. Kablammo 01:56, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

how bout watercraft

Link the links[edit]

Can somebody PLEASE directly link the links! I don't like having to go from one list lead me to another list when what I'm searching for is clear (and I'm sure that I'm not the only one!). I'd do it myself, but I don't know how to do that. Colonel Marksman (talk) 01:17, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this list necessary?[edit]

List of current ships of the United States Navy seems to be a much better and more complete version of this list. Do we really need List of currently active United States military watercraft at all? Lest69 (talk) 00:00, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering that myself, especially when you take United States Navy ships into consideration as well. While "List of current..." is the most detailed and up to date, "USN Ships" and "...watercraft" are basically duplicates, and somewhat pointless. - theWOLFchild 03:38, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

IX-515[edit]

IX-515 was sold for scrap and was struck from the naval register on Feb. 12, 2010, so I am deleting it off of this page. If anyone wants to still create a page for IX-515 also known as "Sea Flyer" they can. It has a sort of interesting history.

LCS as corvettes[edit]

Why are LCS classified as corvettes?Phd8511 (talk) 14:16, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of current ships of the United States Navy which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 15:01, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
