Review

[edit]
  • A good start. Be sure to read this Wikipedia:Manual of Style (lists). Also, take a look at List of colleges and universities in New Hampshire for an example of a decent way to organize a list like this. That list isn't perfect (I see a few problems with it already), but it is a Featured List, so it was given the community stamp of approval about 2 years ago. So, it's a good place to start.
  • Make sure the lead paragraph is expanded. For information on that, read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (lead section), which will give you help and pointers in creating the lead paragraph.
  • Add some pictures from the schools. It might be hard to find pictures of defunct schools, so check google books for some Public Domain (read: really old) illustrations from old books. Read commons:Help:Public domain for more information. A good rule of thumb is that any picture from before 1923 is public domain.
  • Really good research on these schools! Maybe consider creating articles for each of them?
  • This has the potential to be a really neat list. Be aware though: someone might try to merge it with List of colleges and universities in Kansas, so be ready with a good argument that this list benefits the encyclopedia as a stand-alone list.
  • When you're ready for more formal review process, see wp:Peer Review.
