Now a hierarchical list with game descriptions

[edit]

I found this list as a simple alphabetical list of links to articles. I reworked into a hierarchical list of game descriptions. My philosophy is to describe each game sufficiently to give a rough idea of how it is played, glossing over difficulties. The list now also includes games that don't deserve their own article, but are not just minor variants of another game with an article. For these I try to include enough information so that they can be played from it, but without trivial details such as clockwise/counterclockwise or how to decide who starts, which tend to be very variable anyway. --Hans Adler (talk) 15:42, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion

[edit]

Would it be appropriate to expand the article to include commercial / proprietary domino variants? For instance: UNO Domino, Tri-Ominos, Combat Dominoes, Bendomino, or any other commercial game that uses a modified tile set. I can't find an individual list or category for these. At the moment, Wikipedia has only a few articles corresponding to these commercial variants, so notability may be of concern. It looks like there used to be an article for Tri-Ominoes, but now it redirects to the Pressman Toys main article. 75.63.209.97 (talk) 18:17, 21 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
