This list contains violinists who are notable for their work with electric violin

The profession of electric violinist is a relatively new one (in some minds extremely new) Therefore, maybe this list should for a while be left as those violinists who are noted for their use of electric/amplified violin?

The following guidelines I think should be considered:

1. Violinists who do not use electric violin as a specific choice ie they use it out of necessity should not be included.

2. Additions to the list will be carefully vetted.

3. A band is not an electric violinist, a person can be...
