Useful?[edit]

What is the purpose of this page? A listing of something that is constantly growing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.91.248.85 (talk) 10:22, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Question of source reliability[edit]

@TomasKowalsky: Can you explain using the site 'pornsites.xxx' as a source? To me it seems rather unreliable, with the about page not explaining who's running it, and the tone of the article seems like an advertisement for the games rather than an objective review. @Waxworker: The reviews seem to be reliable for me as also negative aspects are pointed out and they do not want to sell the games more than the other source in this article. Furthermore, the games pointed out simply are valid and well-done erotic browser games.TomasKowalsky (talk) 08:04, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@TomasKowalsky: Anyone can write a review, one of the main problems with this source alongside my concerns about tone is we don't know who wrote it and who published it. Sources like IGN and Kotaku are well-known and reliable and coverage by them would be clear-cut, but with this source I don't think there's any indication that the review is reliable or notable. Have reliable sources discussed the site or used it as a source in an article? Waxworker (talk) 14:10, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Eroticism of P.N.03[edit]

@Ngselection: Can you elaborate on how P.N.03 is an erotic game? While it appears somewhat sexualized in its character models, the game was rated T for teen by the ESRB and the game has nothing to do with sex and has no graphic nudity. The Wikipedia article for the game makes no mention of eroticism and is not in the category for erotic games, and the article is a good article by Wikipedia's standards, so I don't think it would omit something important like this. Can you provide a reliable source calling the game erotic? Waxworker (talk) 00:57, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Delete[edit]

I would suggest that all of the line items that lack wp articles and also lack refs be deleted. --2603:7000:2143:8500:A0A8:B669:1B6B:6D03 (talk) 01:36, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notability criteria[edit]

@Karatekidaustin: None of the sources provided seem to indicate notability of the games added. Video game rom sites are not a reliable source, and 'retrogames.cz' provides downloads of the games, which is a copyright violation, please see WP:COPYVIOEL. The header at the top of the article states that "This is a dynamic list and may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness. You can help by adding missing items with reliable sources." I was unable to find anything suggesting that "Wikipedia encourages completeness (or as close as possible) for dynamic lists".

Please see WP:NOTEWORTHY and WP:NLIST, listing every erotic game regardless of whether it's notable is not viable; Steam has over six thousand games tagged with sexual content, and Nutaku's catalogue of games is prolific, but most of them aren't notable because the majority of coverage is paid PR, with no reviews from third parties. The Image-Line interview from 'imsta.org' barely mentions Porntris, not even saying the name of the game, rather calling it "a previous Tetris clone [turned] into an ‘adult’ game", this seems like a trivial mention of the game. Discipline[edit]

There's a 2003 anime Disciple: Record of a Crusade with a few Wikipedia pages, and it is based on an eponymous game. I'm surprised it hasn't been added. 62.122.202.245 (talk) 04:37, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
