Citations[edit]

This list appears to have no citations whatsoever. Bearing in mind that the official website of the SAL is being rebuilt, and that lists of fellows is not available, how is verification to be achieved?

The list of current – but not past – Fellows is available on the SAL website: from the front page, click on "About", and then "Fellows Directory". I will fix the broken link on this page in a minute. And yes, David Attenborough is there (elected 2007) – rather to my surprise, as he's not really known for historical/archaeological/antiquarian activities.

On the wider point (and leaving aside the fact that there are, in fact, ten citations on this page), it's not unusual for Lists on Wikipedia to be wholly or partially unreferenced. In many (though not all) cases, a satisfactory citation can be found by clicking onto the full article on the individual concerned. GrindtXX (talk) 09:44, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what site you're looking at: I'm looking at http://www.sal.org.uk/ . On the front page you get a pop-up saying "some areas" are still under construction, but actually the site seems pretty complete. "About" is the second button on the top bar. Or just follow the link at the foot of this (Wikipedia) article, which I have updated, and which takes you direct to the Fellows Directory. GrindtXX (talk) 01:10, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
