Nonsense[edit]

The method used to calculate the numbers on this list (dividing Gross State Product by estimated population) doesn't make any sense (and is original research -- these numbers don't appear in any of the sources) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.149.100.10 (talk) 22:59, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Administrative countries not yet listed[edit]

South Holland[edit]

South Holland is not mentioned in this list. According to the List of country subdivisions by GDP (nominal) it has a GDP of 129 billion, and it has less then 3,5 million citizens. I calculate about 38,000 GDP per capita. It should therefor be mentioned, yet it isn't. So my question is why. Taketa (talk) 19:01, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Switzerland[edit]

Every single canton of Switzerland has enough GDP per capita to be included in this list, with Basel-Stadt even enough to be third. Is there a reason as to why none of them are included? Djsajon (talk) 15:14, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Per capita GDPs shown for U.S. states are way too low[edit]

Compare with 2005 data for the U.S. as a whole; GDP per capita was well over $40,000. ````Larry Siegel —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.27.106.156 (talk) 07:54, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification "Darmstadt" / Top list missing data.[edit]

The country-subdivision list in the EU-section is misleading. I would like to clarify that "Darmstadt", a small city of little importance or wealth actually means "Regierungsbezirk Darmstadt", which is an administrative region including Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and their wealthy outskirts. Could someone put it in a footnote? Don't want to edit myself, as I haven't grasped how to...

Also the top list only includes some nations. Even the list below for the European Union is not implemented. The data is made available in the source for the second list... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.230.22.122 (talk) 10:41, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The level of the subdivisions listed should be specified. 90.171.144.51 (talk) 18:01, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

First level subdivision[edit]

If this is about FIRST level subdivisions London or Darmstadt should not be included. The first level subdivisions for UK are the four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. And for Germany they are the German states, not individual cities like Darmstadt (which is in Hesse). Regards --Ransewiki (talk) 17:03, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
