Why is Wanda Keyes Heard listed under Baltimore County with a notation that she served in Baltimore City? The two jurisdictions are entirely separate.

First Female Chief Judge, 8th Judicial Circuit of Maryland (Baltimore City)

[edit]

The Honorable Wanda Keyes Heard was appointed to the bench in 1999 and became the first woman to serve as chief judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City in 2017 when Chief Judge Alfred Nance retired. This was a historic event as no woman had ever served as chief judge in the history of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City or the 8th Judicial Circuit of Maryland. 98.117.44.208 (talk) 16:28, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
