Inactive stadiums

[edit]

A big request to Wikipedia participants who do not live in the Republic of Belarus. I ask you not to add information to the list of football stadiums in Belarus that misleads readers. In this list there are only active stadiums and sports complexes. Stadiums under construction, stadiums under reconstruction, stadiums in disrepair, closed stadiums are not in this list. Please take this into account when making changes. Thank you. --Football Beetle (talk) 09:02, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Following the advice you were given at Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)/Archive 64#Inactive stadiums, I would second the opinion that this article should have two (or three) separate sections for active, defunct (and future) stadiums. Many other articles have them and this is eneyclopedic information. We are not the yellow pages but an encyclopedia that also covers history. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 15:39, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Interactive map

[edit]

@Ludost Mlačani and Football Beetle:. As you have seen, I have added an interactive map. The {{football map}} template gets information from Wikidata by default. This is where the image, capacity and tenant club information is gathered. You can override these values using template parameters, although making changes on Wikidata is an alternative. In particular, the |description#= parameter allows you to put any Wikitext in the popup window for each stadium. Let me know if you have any questions. —  Jts1882 | talk  13:47, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
