I added Short Hill Mountain w/Hillsboro gap as a subcategory of Blue Rige Mountains (as the Short Hill is considered part of the range but is a disticnt mountain from the main Blue Rige). I would suggest changing 'Appalachian Mountain' to 'Ridge and Valley Appalachians' as all mountains in Virginia are part of the Appalachians. I also changed 'Catoctin Mountains' to Catoctin Mountain as it is not considered a range but rather one mountain. I believe it and the Bull Run Mnts. are generally considered part of the Blue Ridge so it might be more appropriate to group them as sub-categories of that Range. Just some thoughts. Good edits. As to Appalachian Mountains, I named that category to match the Wiki article directly. The Blue Ridge, however, is not part of the Appalachians, and is a geologically distinct and separate system, and is more of a true mountain range, vice being a ridge/valley system. The Catoctin, Bull Run and other mountains are called the "Coastal Range" and are also categorized separately from the Blue Ridge, per Jedediah Hotchkiss' writings on the geology of Virginia.Grayghost01 (talk) 19:14, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
