I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of highest grossing Christmas films's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 18:22, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Christmas movie

[edit]

This list needs to be narrowed down to Christmas-themed movies, and not just ones that take place at Christmas (Die Hard, Trading Places). Jokes aside, Die Hard is not a Christmas movie. If you remove the Christmas elements it's basically the same movie. Trivialist (talk) 11:09, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's a Wonderful Life is a movie that only partially takes place on Christmas, but is considered a Christmas movie. ~TPW 16:36, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

maybe a good idea is to restool the presiouve info and add to addtion list a christmas theme (films like die hard or batman reutns and a christmas based (films that centere around christmas like Santa Claus and Arthur Christmas) Fanoflionking 10:02, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Christmas-themed" is too vague, though. Everyone can agree on Arthur Christmas and Santa Claus: The Movie being Christmas movies, but most people wouldn't think of Batman Returns as one. Also, this would open the door for other lists of highest-grossing movies with one vague thing in common. Trivialist (talk) 11:00, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ok if we go that way let's try to bulib upon what we got and see where we can get too Fanoflionking 15:19, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
