Is Inside Out 2 a sports film?

[edit]

I removed information about Inside Out 2 becoming the "highest-grossing hockey film" on the page 2024 in film because I don't think it's generally considered as a "sports film" in my opinion, but it's listed on this page as well and thought about removing it on here but I wanted to reach consensus with other users about this information in which I think is disruptive and doesn't make sense, so do you think it's a sports film and should be on here? 2603:6081:893D:13AC:9C88:2BCB:4E5C:54ED (talk) 02:00, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's listed under Category:American ice hockey films, and external sources back that up. From The Athletic, "the majority of the movie takes place at a hockey camp...and Coyne Schofield will be voicing a hockey announcer in some of the many moments where the sport is at the forefront."[1] From Vulture, "you are not prepared for how much ice hockey there is in Inside Out 2."[2] And from Front Office Sports, "In the early 1990s, The Mighty Ducks put hockey in the limelight at an unprecedented scale....Now, a similar moment may be here for a new generation, with a pop culture frenzy that could blow The Mighty Ducks out of the water."[3] Sounds like a hockey movie to me.
