Former medals

[edit]

I've seen that multiple medals and awards have been replacements for past medals or awards of equal or extremely similar status. I'm wondering if there should be an external link of sorts that shows past or equivalent medals and awards meant for ease of access. This is for single medals that where replaced by multiple awards and medals like the hero of the Soviet Union medal that was used for all territories and countries under the Soviet Union. Long story short, can there be links for past awards and medals in this article? JPaul Getty ptoductions (talk) 18:08, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A new section on defunct awards and awards of defunct states sounds like a good addition to me. If you are interested in adding it yourself, then go right on ahead. You can just copy the code from the first section to re-create the tables. Spirit of Eagle (talk) 06:44, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I will start working on that. Thank you for the clarification! JPaul Getty ptoductions (talk) 18:22, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Great! Creating and editing tables can be a bit finicky, so if you have any questions feel free to post them here. Spirit of Eagle (talk) 02:38, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
So I finally started on the article, but I after exiting the draft and coming back later to return to editing, I can't find the draft. I haven't found any help articles or videos that give me the information I'm looking for. Were can I find the draft, or did it get deleted? I didn't start it in my sandbox, I started it in the Article Wizard. JPaul Getty ptoductions (talk) 00:32, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Bad news: I searched your edit history and there was no record of your draft. There’s no messages on your talk page and your edit history shows no deleted edits, so it looks like the draft was never saved to Wikipedia. I’m really sorry, but it looks like your work was lost.
