Information icon Hi JPaul Getty ptoductions! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Red Dead Redemption 2 that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 22:16, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Promotion

[edit]

@JPaul Getty ptoductions: Greetings. I realized that you are promoting your YouTube channel on your user page. Self-promotion is not allowed per WP:PROMO, and some people have ended up getting in trouble with the community for that. I do not want to be a nagging lawyer going around telling people what to do and not to do, but getting rid of the link must be done. You could have information about yourself and your Wikipedia activities, but please, no advertising or self-promotion. Cheers. Wretchskull (talk) 22:19, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
